Tom is a team builder, driven to create high-performance cultures. He is a skilled growth strategist offering tactical skills in lean start-up techniques, intellectual property management, product development, sales and marketing. Tom is the founder of three start-up ventures, two launching breakthrough environmentally sustainable technologies in packaging industry. Most recently Tom founded and was the CEO Microgreen Polymers that developed a technology that can create polymer based consumer packing with compelling environmental benefits. Tom is the inventor of eight patents and has won many industry awards including Gold Edison Green Award, 2014; Environmental Service Award, Association of Washington Business, 2014; DuPont Packaging Award for Excellence in Cost/Waste Production; Red Herring North America Winner, 2014; 1st Place, Performance Innovation Foodservice Packaging; Gold Award Winner in Environmental Achievement, Packaging Digest.
Tom earned an MBA from Pepperdine University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California Santa Barbara.
