Andy has enjoyed a successful career as an entrepreneur in Asia for nearly 20 years, having spent most of his time based in Bangkok, Thailand. He first arrived to Singapore, and co-founded K23 Creative Services, a marketing communications firm serving clients throughout the Asia Pacific region. After the successful sale of that company, Andy moved to Bangkok pursue his next venture; OneService International, an upstart licensee company providing logistics and insurance services to the gems and jewelry industry.
Andy quickly led OneService’s expansion throughout the region by opening offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and Hong Kong. Andy later joined his partner and other private investors, to engineer the successful buyout of OneService from its US parent company, Tyco International. Over the ensuing seven years with OneService, Andy spent three years based in Hong Kong, expanded its global footprint to more countries, and grew the International unit to become the group’s most profitable territory and division. In February, 2005, Andy facilitated the sale of OneService to G4S (GFS London Stock Exchange), the largest security services business in the world.
From 2006 to 2011, Andy continued his entrepreneurial endeavors by seeding investments in ventures across a spectrum of industries. In addition, he also worked as a regional consultant to several insurance companies, including First American Title Insurance Company (world’s largest title insurer), helping them develop market opportunities throughout Asia. Since 2011, Andy has been the managing partner at InsurExcellence, a regional insurance broker with its head office in Bangkok.
Mr. Minckler obtained his BA degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California. In his last year at university, Andy worked in Washington D.C., volunteering for U.S. Senator John Kerry, as a Legislative Aide specializing in foreign policy.
