Bill is a Managing Director of Venture Enterprises and brings over 20 years of investment banking and consulting experience working with growth companies.  He has raised over $6 billion in financings and worked on over $2 billion in merger and acquisition transactions. These transactions include Private Placements, IPOs, Secondaries, High Yield, Mezzanine Debt, Sellside, Buyside and Leveraged Buyout transactions across the Cleantech, Industrial, Medtech and Technology industries. 

Bill brings a wealth of experience in positioning companies and managing strategic processes.  He also brings an extensive set of relationships with corporations, emerging growth companies and financing sources. 

Prior to joining Venture Enterprises, Bill founded Emerger Advisors, a strategic consulting firm focused on evaluating and managing corporate approaches to new markets, partnerships, financings and liquidity events. 

Before founding Emerger Advisors, Bill headed the Advanced Fuels, Chemicals and Materials practice at Wedbush Securities as part of its Industrial Growth Technology Group. He also spent a considerable amount of time working with Waste-To-Value and Energy Efficiency companies.  He joined Wedbush from Seven Hills, a San Francisco based growth advisory firm.  Bill began banking in New York City with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) where he worked in the Investment Banking and Merchant Banking groups.  He left DLJ with a group of bankers that went on to start the investment banking practice at WR+Hambrecht and the North American Technology Group at ABN AMRO. 

Bill graduated from Harvard University with a BS in Economics.  While at Harvard, Bill was captain of the Heavyweight Crew Team and was also a member of the U.S. National Rowing Team.
