Dave is presently Managing Director of Venture Enterprises. He has had a broad career ranging from working in a financial services subsidiary of a fortune five industrial company to being an independent advisor. Dave held several positions in financial subsidiaries of Ford Motor Company, including Vice President Capital Equipment and Vice President Municipal Financing of US Leasing and Assistant Vice President of Ford Financial Services. His group made equity investments in projects totally $1.2 billion in capital assets. In addition, he and a colleague created a municipal leasing group that built a billion-dollar debt portfolio in three years. Dave later joined Kendall Capital Partners, a financial advisory firm specializing in project financing with an emphasis in the independent power generation market. At KCP he advised corporations making equity investments in projects and development companies seeking financing. Upon KCP being purchased, Dave created Privatization Capital Group, an advisory firm that specialized in the financing and development of projects that were partnerships between municipalities and private companies.
Both through PCG and independently, Dave has provided strategic and financial advice to a wide range of clients and broadened his focus from the environmental services industry to include telecom and healthcare. He created refinancing structures tailored to specific clients and projects as well as advised companies at various stages of operations ranging from start-ups to mature entities needing to expand. Dave holds a BS in Mathematics from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MSIA) from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
